Cesare disappears into the ground.

Tim: What the hell just happened?
Billie: Do we... go back to our trucks?
Penny looks at the giant crater in the ground.
A keychain holding 3 keys is on the crater. Penny picks it up.
1 WEEK LATER
Penny is serving a customer. It's 10:30 am.
Penny: Alright sir, your order is coming right up!
Penny: ...
The truck has some scratches from the side it fell on. Penny, Tim, and Billie still have clown makeup.
Tim is cooking burgers behind Penny. Billie is outside, preparing tables. It's the first time the crew has stayed stationary, since they were always moving to new places Steve picked, seemingly at random.
There's already 2 customers sitting down.
Billie: Alright, tables done.
Billie says as she goes back in the truck.
Billie: Penny, can you-
Billie trips over something.
Billie: Ow! What is the hell is... this?
Billie sees a wooden box on the ground.
Billie: Huh...
Penny: Billie, what's going on?
Billie: Look at this. It's some sort of crate.
Penny: Maybe it's Steve's. It's locked.
Tim: What are you guys doing h-
Tim: What's that?
Billie: That's what we're trying to find out.
Penny: Oh! I think I know how to open it!
Penny reaches into her pocket and pulls out the keys she found.
Billie: Aren't those the truck keys?
Penny: Only the black ones. I haven't figured out what the gold key is for. But it may be for this chest.
Penny puts the key in the box. It opens. There are a bunch of letters, all directed to Steve. On the bottom there's a photo. It shows Steve with a bunch of other people in clown makeup. Steve is wearing a striped white and red shirt under his jacket instead of his usual hamburger one.
Tim: Should we... be looking at this?
Penny flips the picture. There's a phone number.
Billie: Wow... Should we call it?
Tim: I don't know guys, this seems like none of our business.
Penny: Yeah... It might be dangerous.
Billie: Or maybe it's just some old friend of Steve. Look at the ammount of letters in here.
Billie takes a letter and starts reading it.
Billie: What the...
Penny: What did you find Billie?
Billie: Look.
Billie: "Steve, the gang's looking for you. Where are you? Is this because of the performance?"
Billie: Was Steve missing? This is from a year ago.
Billie keeps on reading the letters, while Penny takes out her phone.
Tim: Wait, Penny, you're gonna call the number?
Penny: Yeah, I feel like they should at least learn about what happened to Steve, right? They're his friends.
Tim: I don't know. I still feel like this is wrong.
Penny: Well, too late now.
Penny calls. The phone rings for a second before someone picks up.
Hello?
Penny: Hi! Do you, by any chance, know Steve?

Who are you?
Penny: I'm Penny. I work at Bigtop Burger. Steve was our boss.
Where is he now?
Penny: About that... Can we, like, meet in person? Something happened to Steve.
...
Penny: Hello?
*whispering* So that's where he's been.
Don't move from where you are. I'll go in an hour. Don't tell anybody about this call.
Penny: Wha-
The phone hangs up.
Billie: And?
Penny: He said he's coming here.
Tim: ...WHAT?
